Tutu Baby Shower...part 2

Still thinking about those adorable tutus we made for baby Ellie.  She will have so much fun playing dress up with all those cute tutus!  Yesterday I promised pictures of the food, favors and recipe for the fruit dip.

So here's the pictures of the food we served:

Mini pigs in a blanket and mini meat & cheese sandwiches.
Strawberries, pineapple "flowers" and fruit dip.
Layered dip, pasta salad with spinach & strawberries, and cups of ranch dip with veggies.
The cake looks exactly like the invitations!
My piece of delicious carrot cake {fat-free of course, heehee}.

Party favors...little metal buckets with...

...a super cute "onesie" cookie & package of flower seeds.

Fresh Fruit Dip

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
12 macaroon cookies, crushed
1 pint of sour cream

Mix ingredients together and place in refrigerator over night.  Lightly stir before serving.

Serving ideas:  cut fresh pinapple in half, leaving the green top on the half you will use.  Remove pineapple, leaving the outside intact.  Place dip in hollowed out shell.  Place on platter and surround with various fresh fruit.  I love this with strawberries, pineapple, grapes, apricots, peaches, blueberries, raspberries...well, with just about any fruit!

This is easy, fast and so yummy and everyone will ask for the recipe...up to you if you give it or not!

Just me being me...Lori
